Canine Coverage Co. was founded to close a critical gap in the pet insurance industry: the lack of consistent, reliable information for pet owners making coverage decisions. After observing how the same insurance companies could deliver vastly different outcomes for similar claims, it became clear that pet owners needed an independent source of truth—like Consumer Reports, but specifically for pet insurance.
The disparity in the insurance industry meant that pet owners were making crucial decisions with incomplete or biased information, often discovering coverage limitations only when filing claims.
